Centre for foreign languages ELA organise courses for studying eight languages: English, German, French, Italian, Russian, Hungarian, Portuguese, and Serbian for foreigners.
Students take free Placement Test which lasts for 45 minutes and checks the existing knowledge of English and German language. After completing the Placement Test students are placed in groups of adequate level.
All levels are in accordance with C.E.F.R. (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) – A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2.
English language courses
All groups except the beginner levels (intermediate and high levels – B1, B2, C1, and C2) are preparing students for Cambridge ESOL exams (KET, PET, FCE, CAE, BEC, TOEFL, IELTS).

German language course
German language course is divided in sublevels A1.1, A.1.2, A2.1, and A2.2 etc.
The course consists of 60 hours of school classes at beginner levels and with the increase of level the number of classes rises. During the course students learn everyday and business vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, listening, and conversation and all that is a preparation for Goethe exams. French language course
French language course is divided on levels A1, A2, B1 and B2. Beginner levels last for one semester (60 school classes) and higher levels last for five months (100 school classes). After the course it is possible to take DELF exam in Belgrade or Novi Sad in the French Cultural Centre. You can find more information on www.institutfrancais.rs.
Spanish language course
Spanish language course is divided on levels A1, A2, B1 and B2. As in other courses, the beginner course lasts one semester (60 school classes), while higher levels require larger number of classes. After the course students are prepared to take DELE exam. Diploma for Spanish as foreign language (DELE) is an official document of international character which is granted by the Cervantes Institute on behalf of Spanish Ministry of education, culture and sport. Italian language course
Italian language course is divided on A1+A2, B1, B2 and C1 levels.
The beginner course is consisted out of overall A level (A1+A2) with a total fund of 90 school classes.
Intermediate and advanced level courses have 132 school classes, or the entire school year. After finishing the course students can take CELI or CILS exams at the Italian Institute for culture in Belgrade.
The Institute has a contract with the University for Foreigners in Perugia and Siena, and with the University for Studies Roma Tre for certification of CELI, CILS and IT which confirm knowledge of Italian language. Serbian language course
Serbian language course for foreigners is designed to teach students who are not native speakers of Serbian language with ease and as fast as possible.
The course has three levels – beginner, intermediate and advanced.
Serbian language course for foreigners is suitable for people who live and work in Serbia because it includes everyday and business vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing and listening.
